On Rocktober 6th Steel Panther will release Feel The Steel the culmination of a glam metal revival suited perfectly for 2009 in the US! Feel The Steel, produced by Jay Ruston, features “Death To All But Metal” and “Community Property” and will mark the major label debut from the spandex-clad quartet. The album will hit fans on September 29 via iTunes before finding its way to store shelves nationally on October 6.

Right now I am thinking about all of the Steel Panther fans in the world and how bitchin they are. They don't give a fuck if their bosses walk in on them while they're playing Asian Hooker at work or if their wives hear them cranking eatin ain't cheatin. The female Panther fan keeps her vagina nicely shaved or waxed and is always down to party. Our fans know what it means to love heavy metal with all of their heart. It means waking up every day at the crack of noon just so you can start playing your Steel Panther cd. It means dedicating many hours each day to making sure that your hair and makeup look fuckin killer. It means always having enough weed to make sure that if you happen to run into one of the guys in Steel Panther, that you can smoke him out. STEEL PANTHER
The 2009 Download award for "Most Overly Subscribed Gig" goes to the awesome Steel Panther. The Tuborg tent was absolutely mobbed for the LA hair rockers and every single person who witnessed their first UK festival gig walked away with a beeming smile. With so much doom and desperation at the UK's premier rock festival, it makes a pleasant surprise to see a band that don't take themselves too seriously. The four-piece have the longest running show on the Sunset Strip and mix up tributes to 80s hair metal with comedy and on stage antics - it really has to be seen to be believed. Most of their songs are slightly too rude to go in to now, but the pick of the show had to be the hilarious Community Property - check it out for yourself.
Rating - 9/10

Steel Panther is launching a competition to see if anyone can better Satchel’s guitar solo for ‘Death To All But Metal'. The ultimate winner, as chosen by the band, will have opportunity of performing their winning solo live with Steel Panther at their next London show, one hell of a prize!
Entrants should upload a video of their solo to The Official YouTube Steel Panther contest page where other entrants can view and rate the solos, there may even be a few surprise entries in the coming weeks. Fans will also be able to download a version of ‘Death To All But Metal’ without Satchel’s solo (a ‘solo-less’ version) from iTunes on June 14th so they can record their own solo over the track.
Anyone can enter the competition but the winner will be picked from the UK. Good luck!

All fans coming to Download must tell all their friends about this world record attempt and come to the Tuborg Stage at 5:15pm on the Sunday of the festival to be a part of this world record attempt. Of course they’ll be there to see the hardest rocking band of the festival too!
Mark your calendars! Steel Panther's debut album "Feel the Steel" will be released today, June 8th in the UK! Following the album release, the single "Death To All But Metal" will be released on June 15th with an unreleased b-side track "I Want Your Tits" included.
